Open a received rehearsal
Open a shared read-only rehearsal and check who described it, where it applies, and when it was reviewed.
Steps
- From Home, choose Open a practice file.
- Use the system file picker to select the `.rehearse` file you received. A protected file asks for its password.
- Wait while the app reads, validates, and saves the file. Cancelling preserves the source file and existing practices.
- Open About this practice and check title, source labels, content language, context, limitations, version, and review date before choosing Start.
What to expect
A valid rehearsal is added to My practices as a read-only copy. Receiving and practising it does not use an active creator-project slot.
If it does not work
- For an invalid, damaged, oversized, or wrong-password file, choose the original file again and confirm the password with its sender.
- If storage is low, free device space before retrying. Do not delete existing app data as the first recovery step.
- A newer file does not silently overwrite a different version; review the version comparison when offered.
Keep in mind
A source label is written by the maker. It is not verified identity, and an old review date is not proof that the real situation is still current.
