PlainQuote is a local-first app for quotes, recorded decisions, revisions, change orders, invoices, payment records, receipts, reports, exports, and backups. It does not require a PlainQuote account and does not operate a PlainQuote cloud workspace.

Information stored in the local workspace

Information you enter is stored in PlainQuote's local workspace on your device. It can include business profile details, customer and company details, contact information, billing and service addresses, Jobs, quotes, revisions, change orders, invoices, receipts, line items, taxes, discounts, payment references, notes, reports, local attachments, exports, and backup files.

PlainQuote does not use this information for advertising, cross-app tracking, sale, or rental. The current product does not include an advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, developer-hosted customer database, account system, cloud sync service, hosted customer approval link, online payment processor, or tax filing service.

Purchase information

Lifetime Pro is an optional one-time purchase provided by Apple App Store or Google Play Billing when PlainQuote is publicly available there. Apple or Google handles the transaction under its own terms. PlainQuote reads a store entitlement on the device to apply the new-document limit and local-attachment feature. HomiSoft does not receive payment-card information or run a hosted purchase profile.

When information leaves your device

PlainQuote creates PDFs, CSV exports, follow-up message drafts, and backups locally. Information leaves the device only when you explicitly choose an operating-system action such as sharing, printing, saving to files, or restoring a file.

The email provider, messaging service, printer, file-storage provider, or other destination you select handles that information under its own privacy terms. PlainQuote does not auto-send messages and a canceled share is not recorded as sent.

Permissions and local files

PlainQuote uses system document and sharing tools when you choose export, import, backup, restore, print, or share actions. It writes temporary files only to complete an action you request. The current product does not require camera, microphone, location, contacts, advertising identifier, or background-location access for its core flow.

Use your device passcode or biometric lock and share files only with intended recipients. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure.

Retention, export, and deletion

Records remain in the local workspace until you edit, archive, delete, restore over, or remove them. You can create CSV exports and a local backup before deleting the app or its data. Removing the app generally removes its local workspace, subject to operating-system backup and restore behavior.

Because PlainQuote has no developer-hosted account or customer database, HomiSoft has no server-side PlainQuote account or document record to delete. If you share a PDF, export, or message through another provider, manage that copy with the receiving service or recipient.

Children

PlainQuote is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

If PlainQuote later adds a service that changes how information is handled, this policy and the applicable store disclosures will be updated before that service is enabled.
