ShiftTotal Privacy Policy

ShiftTotal is provided by HomiSoft LC. This policy describes the current iPhone, iPad, and Android app.

Your records stay on your device

ShiftTotal does not require an account, sign-in, or profile. Workplaces, planned shifts, actual work sessions, breaks, pay settings, estimates, payslip entries, and review notes are stored in the app's local database on your device. HomiSoft does not operate a server that receives these core records.

The app does not include advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, behavioral analytics, or developer-operated cloud synchronization.

Files you choose to create or share

When you choose to export an ICS calendar file, CSV, PDF report, or .shifttotal backup, the file is created locally. You choose its location and whether to share it through your device's system sharing tools. Recipients and services you choose may handle a shared file under their own privacy policies.

Purchases

Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. When you choose to buy or restore it, Apple App Store or Google Play processes the purchase and returns the entitlement to the app. HomiSoft does not receive your payment card information, purchase token, schedule, pay records, or backup content. The app keeps an on-device entitlement cache so an already verified purchase remains available when the store is temporarily unreachable.

Data we do not collect

HomiSoft does not collect, sell, rent, or use for advertising your shift records, work sessions, pay settings, pay estimates, payslip entries, backup contents, precise location, contacts, or identifiers for cross-app tracking.

Retention and deletion

Records remain on your device until you delete the app or replace local data through the app's supported restore flow. Exported files remain where you saved or shared them until you delete them in the location or service you chose. HomiSoft cannot delete core records remotely because it does not receive them.

Children

ShiftTotal is not directed to children. Do not enter information about another person unless you have the right to keep it on your own device.

Changes and contact

If an app update changes these data practices, this page and the applicable store disclosures will be updated before that version is released. For privacy questions, contact HomiSoft at help@homisoft.com.
