Hangry Timer Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Hangry Timer app for iPhone and its Apple Watch companion app.

Information handled by the app

Hangry Timer stores the following information that you enter or create while using the app on your device:

Diet plan and timer start and end times
Goal completion and Breather use
Water, protein, and meal logs
Your typical late-night snack budget and the savings estimate calculated from it
App settings such as notification preference and onboarding completion

The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, complete payment information, or advertising identifier.

Storage and processing

App records are stored on your iPhone. An operating-system-managed app group is used so widgets and Live Activities can display the current diet timer state.

When the Apple Watch companion app is installed and Pro is active, Apple’s WatchConnectivity service sends a limited snapshot between the paired devices. The snapshot contains timer status, start and target times, plan duration, streak, estimated Vault amount, and Pro access status. The Watch can send start and end commands back to the paired iPhone. This device-to-device exchange does not use a HomiSoft server, and the Watch does not receive meal, water, or protein history.

Notifications for the 4-, 8-, 12-, and 16-hour progress milestones and the target end time are scheduled on the device through Apple’s local notification system. Only milestones that occur before your selected target are scheduled. Siri and Shortcuts also run through Apple system features, and app records are not sent to HomiSoft servers.

Hangry Timer Pro purchases and restorations are handled by Apple’s StoreKit and App Store payment systems. The app reads product and transaction status supplied by Apple to confirm access, but it does not receive or store complete payment details such as card numbers. HomiSoft does not operate a separate payment server.

Hangry Timer does not use:

User accounts or login
An app-data server operated by HomiSoft
Advertising networks
Behavioral tracking or personalized advertising
Third-party analytics SDKs
Sale or disclosure of app records to third parties
Cloud synchronization between devices

HomiSoft therefore cannot collect or view the diet, meal, water, or protein records stored in the app.

Apple may process separate information while providing App Store distribution and payments, the device operating system, Siri, notifications, and other Apple services. That processing is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

App records remain on your iPhone until you delete them. The Watch companion keeps only the latest device-to-device status supplied through WatchConnectivity, not a separate history.

Erase inside the app: Settings Erase All Data Erase
Delete the apps: remove Hangry Timer from the iPhone and, if it remains installed, from Apple Watch to remove their local app data

Deleting all data inside the app cannot be undone. HomiSoft does not keep a copy of app records and cannot restore deleted records.

Diet, water, protein, and meal logs may be sensitive information about your daily habits. This information is not used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advertising and is not sent to HomiSoft servers.

Children and teenagers

Hangry Timer does not recommend dieting for growing teenagers without guidance from a healthcare professional. The app does not intentionally collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, HomiSoft will update the effective date and content on this page. If external servers, accounts, analytics, or advertising are added, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before those features are used.
