ClockToBill is under active development. This guide distinguishes the current starter scope from features that are still planned, so it does not imply an unverified release or unfinished workflow.

Today, Ledger, and Billing

Today

Today is the active-work surface. The starter scope includes an active or paused timer, a quick start, a context stack, recent entries, and a day-focused view.

Ledger

Ledger is the chronological record of completed entries. The product model keeps factual timing, classification, value, review state, and a billing destination connected to a time entry.

Billing

Billing is the readiness surface. The current starter scope includes state counts and a reminder not to combine mixed currencies into one grand total.

Current core

The durable timer core, raw-versus-billable arithmetic, a basic ledger UI, and local timer-event persistence are implemented. Raw CSV file export is also part of the current engineering status.

Workflows still in progress

Timer details, manual-entry editing, client and project management, day review, billing batches, reports, imports, backup and restore, settings, purchase flow, and cross-device watch sync are tracked for later stages. Do not rely on this page as a promise that those workflows are already available.

Privacy and permissions

The starter apps have no account, server-side time data, advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, remote calendar processing, remote location history, screenshots, keystroke monitoring, browser or app monitoring, or generative AI. They request no calendar or location permission and declare no network permission in the current starter state.

Read the ClockToBill Privacy Policy for the current policy language. Final privacy labels, backup encryption, biometric lock, calendar or location disclosures, and retention wording remain subject to implementation and review.
