Product specification

RecipeDraft is a private, local-first recipe manager and cooking journal. A person collects and organizes recipes, cooks against a chosen immutable revision, records what actually happened, and promotes only verified changes to a later revision. It combines offline recipe management, grocery/pantry/meal planning, and reflective cook records; it is not a social network, delivery marketplace, AI recipe generator, or nutrition/safety adviser.

The functional baseline is the non-server outcome a Paprika user expects: recipe capture, organization, search, quantities, cooking, timers, groceries, pantry, menus, planning, sharing, print, and export. The independent differentiator is the combination of immutable revisions, Cook Sessions, structural diff, selective promotion, and a journal inspired by editorial personal-record patterns.
