Product Specification

OwnProof is a private, local-first home inventory and proof-record app. It helps a person record what they own by property, room and storage location, attach ownership evidence, track dates, and export useful records for moving, warranty service, insurance documentation or resale.

The Korean launch name is 내 물건; the global name is OwnProof. Both exact store names and trademark availability remain provisional until submission. Korean value line: 내가 가진 것, 필요할 때 증명할 수 있게. Global value line: Know what you own. Keep the proof.

Non-negotiable product boundaries

• No HomiSoft server, user accounts, login, shared cloud inventory, remote media storage, ads, tracking SDK, subscription, or generative/remote OCR.
• No item-count paywall: Free has unlimited items, rooms and categories in one property.
• Existing data is always viewable, editable, deletable and available through raw CSV/basic backup.
• The app never claims insurer approval, ownership verification, claim eligibility or payout certainty.
• The product is a personal property record, not business warehouse inventory, accounting, POS, document drive, insurance broker or maintenance system.

Primary flows

1. Property overview → room/location tree → item tile → item detail. 2. Room Sweep: select a room, capture photo/name, save-and-next, then complete optional proof details from review. 3. Attach photos, receipts, warranties, manuals, appraisal/certificate evidence to one or more items. 4. Search locally across item, model, serial, barcode, location, tag, retailer, notes and optional OCR text. 5. Review Documentation Check gaps and expiring local reminders. 6. Produce a truthful local inventory, claim, high-value, moving, room/category or expiry report. 7. Make, verify and restore an encrypted portable backup without relying on a server.
